Miami’s destination retail spot, ShoeGallery, is know for its keen selection of limited edition kicks, gear and graffiti supplies to fill up a daunting 3,500 square-feet store. When taking their wonderful taste and combining it with a dose of creativity and artistry from the Upset Gentlemen (from Miami Ink), the result is as expected, nothing sub par and everything beyond. The duo from Miami has collaborated with adidas Originals to rework one of the label’s most popular new silhouettes, the ZX 700 Boat, which has been garnering a lot of attention and fans since it was introduced.

The collaborative version draws inspiration from the vintage nautical, combining Oxblood Red leather upper with a neutral bone panel, highlighted with stunning golden eyelets and then thrown in with a surprising blue/white gingham lining and ankle panel twist for a refreshing vibe. The mix of materials also provide an interesting contrast, where leather, fabric and a nylon mesh are worked seamlessly into the sneaker boat shoe.

The collaborative ZX 700 Boat is due to release on Feb. 6 during the Superbowl weekend at ShoeGallery, just in time for the languid spring days and cheery summer afternoons. One of the classic basketball sneaker model that adidas debuted in 1987 is this Conductor in hi cut style. With plenty of ankle support and rugged construction that blends well with the signature adidas design has been revised for the new millennium. Leather uppers have been divided tonally in browns and blacks featuring different textures that makes this sneaker look some what like leather boots. Subtle adidas branding on the midsole and heel section also helps to keep the sneaker simple and the use of white midsole and outsole breaks up the darker tones. Known world wide for their crocodile logo, Lacoste and the Mississippi sneaker is one of their popular longstanding models. This special edition sneaker is a collaboration with UK’s independent record label Deep Soul Music which caters for Drum N Bass genre. The color combination of the sneaker is taken straight from the brand colors of Deep Soul Music with warm Earth tones of brown, light brown and orange used in harmony over the suede, nubuck and nylon uppers. On the side of the sneaker is the aforementioned crocodile logo in all white matched by white shoe laces and midsole.
