N.E.R.D.  recently performed  a new song  "Help Me" from their up and coming album Nothing (to be released in Sept.2010) in London.  With  a new record deal with Universal, its sounds as though N.E.R.D. is also venturing into a new direction musically. "Help Me" sounds more like a  late 60s - early 70s rock band than what we come to expect from N.E.R.D.
