The Goodie Mob Reunion presented by Shameless Plug (Video and Pics Inside)

For the uninitiated, Goodie Mob is one of the South’s most influential hip-hop groups. Born and bred in the ATL, the group consists of members Khujo (Willie Knighton, Jr.), T-Mo Goodie (Robert Barnett), Big Gipp (Cameron Gipp) and Cee-Lo (Thomas Callaway)....Although they did a few surprise, one-off shows here and there over the years — so the show in Atlanta this past weekend is a rare treat. I miss Goodie Mob. I wish they had never broke up. I just couldn't get into Gnarles Barkley. But Cee-Lo with Goodie Mob was the shilznit.

Yes, the sound was horrible, but just seeing these guys rockin the stage together is worth it. I too wish they had never broke up. maybe this will get the juices flowing in the right direction to get back together for a new project. i'd buy that...for sure.

Man-nnn, it took them too long to do this. I wish they had done this when they were still relevant. Their brand of intelligent soul-hip hop is what the game has been missing since they stop doing it. That "World Party" cd ruined their reign when they tried to go from what they were. I know artist try to expand and try new ish, but that wasn't them. Maybe their record execs made them do it, I don't know, but they need to get back to that "Soul Food"/"Still Standing" way of dropping the funky ish they did with knowledge back then. The game needs that and bet they could blow up all over again if they did.

Yea I agree totally I don't like to see artists come back after a long ass hiatus but these guys are legends. You have to admit though it is a breath of fresh air with all this bullshit on the radio now.
