Finale Design Reveals Its 2008 Fall/Winter Collection: 5 styles introduced

Finale Design (Finale) presents its 2008 Fall/Winter collection and introduces new stockists who will carry its products this season. The clothing line has completed printing and the newest designs will be available to the public by mid-October.

Fresh off the collaboration with seminal skateboarder/artist Andy Howell's ArtsProjekt, Finale introduces 5 new t-shirt designs that carry on the line's tradition of reinforcing strong iconic images and pop culture references.  All t-shirts are designed and printed locally and come in various sizes and colors.

The first design, entitled Gotcha Back, features a lyrical excerpt made famous by influential Wu-Tang Clan artist The GZA and follows up on the success of previous lyric themed offerings from seasons past.  The second installment named Quiet as Kept, is an ode to nautical ideology and references an old adage that also rings true in urban, street-level philosophy.  Building on their strong hip hop and sports culture fan base, the third style of the collection references pop icons DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince and their classic record "Parents Just Don't Understand" and uses the song's title to reflect a common problem of sneaker collectors.  Cut Creator, Finale's fourth design, continues the theme used in their best selling t-shirt, Gotta Have Faith (Dreams) from 2 seasons ago.  In this version, several well-known recording artists are highlighted because of their association with Hip Hop's most famous hairstyles. Lastly, Finale teams up with Blacksmith recording artists Strong Arm Steady to collaborate on SAS, a four-color screen appropriating the proud shield of the Special Air Service, a special forces regiment within the British Army that shares the West Coast super-group's same initials.

Black Rainbow (Paris) and Back Door Bottega (Bologna, Italy) the newest stockists to start carrying the Finale line.  The new collection will again be available at several boutiques in North America including Subdivision (Vancouver) and The Reed Space (New York), as well as at street wear staple Digital Gravel (www.digitalgravel.com).
