Arize: Where did the name Siloette stem from?
Started out as "Siloe" for short. Saw a shop called Silhouette's while riding the bus in Seattle around 1997. Decided I liked the way that sounded.
Arize: Your style is unique and it seems very personal. With the subject matter being mostly women. What provoked that in all your pieces?
I like to draw all kinds of imagery. Women just seem to be the general theme. A woman's face can trump almost everything its compared to. In my opinion.
Arize: Those are some hot women you got in your work…Any of em friends of yours?

Arize: You work in almost every medium…Would you consider yourself a jack of all trades?
Not really. I do enjoy the mediums I regularly practice though. Acrylic is probably my favorite medium. Only because of the patience it requires me to have. Spraypaint is almost the most rewarding. I feel like I can walk away complete after pulling something off or putting something out there. Im probably the "best" though at illustration and mixed media.
Arize: Which medium do you get the most response from? And whats the biggest piece you’ve done?
I probably get the biggest response from my acrylic and mixed media work. The biggest piece I ever did though was of course in spraypaint. A three story building.

Arize: You’ve probably done almost everything a successful urban artist wish they could do..Can you list some of the different avenues you have worked on? (shoes, boards etc)
I don't know about all that. Everyone is different. I never set out in my work to design objects such as shoes or snowboards. It just kind of started happening. I am thankful that those jobs came about when they did but I never made that genre a particular goal.

Arize: What can we look forward to in the future for you?
Much more complex paintings and illustrations. A few book projects, a small apparel line and hopefully more walls from my travels.
