New Art – Chuma–Urban clash of stunning and cool ass illustrations

I was born on the 1st January 1978 in Pedro Muñoz, a little village in the South of the Spanish province of Ciudad Real.

I have learned my skills over the years, since I was a child. At first I used paper, color pens and anything which I could use to paint. Some years later, I changed to the sprays and walls and finally, to the digital format.

I acquired my knowledge on my own, so I am a sort of self-taught artist.
When I had the chance, I left my village and I went to Madrid to study Illustration and Graphic Design. When I finished my Higher Education course, I began working as a designer for several companies. I have carried out design works, as well as illustrations, web and industrial designs and poster and publicity designs.

I like the dynamism in what I do. Some years ago, I left the graphic design aside to begin working in other more interesting projects. I think that nowadays everything happens too quickly and to keep you in this world is difficult, that's why I live the present and I do not make plans for the future.
I think you have to love what you do, moreover, your work has to impress people. The day I do not like what I do, things will not make sense.

I always have a notebook and a pen on me. I like to observe everything around me and I admire those who make possible that things look real. I always try to show my works through the lens I look through.

Now, I am absorbed in an interesting personal project. I want to realize a series of works for an exhibition that I want to organize for the next year. I am doing the layout of a book containing some of my works.
